I try and eat clean all year long, the stricter my diet the better
I look and feel. But, of course I do indulge myself of junk once
in awhile. I recommend eating 4-6 times a day (small meals) as
eating more often will boost metabolism which will help you increase
energy and burn fat.
With every meal I eat between 20-35 grams of protein, weather
its non-fat cottage cheese, egg yolk’s, tuna canned in water,
red meat, chicken or a low-carb shake (whey-protein)
I eat starchy carbohydrates such as oatmeal, rice, or pasta
I mostly use these for energy, remember carbs=energy, but, be
sure your going to use them up or they turn to fat.
I eat fibrous carbohydrates such as broccoli, green beans, asparagus,
I mostly eat these because they keep me leaner, also a good source
of vitamins and minerals.
Off season I do eat fatty foods such as mixed nut’s, or
natural peanut butter, low-fat cheese, egg yolks, avocado. Flax
oil is also a great source of good fat.
Remember to drink plenty of water!!!
