TIP 1 - Updated Feb 5, 08

Having healthy clean skin is very important to me.

I exfoliate 2X a week with Apricot Scrub by Swiss Ives
I tan about once a week (off-season) to keep my skin young and healthy, as a supplement for color I use dove energy glow lotion (for medium skin types) every morning, it keeps my skin tanned and glowing..

A good clean diet and plenty of water keeps your skin free from blemishes and keeps it young and full of elasticity.

TIP 2

I am a woman that believes that beauty comes from within. It starts first with a healthy diet, sleep, exercise, and stress reduction.

Below are some helpful beauty secrets that I use to save time and keep my skin glowing.

  • I've discovered that after you're done putting on all your make-up, apply a little bit of baby powder with your brush to give your face a radiant glow. Don't put on too much or else you'll look pale. A little goes a long way.
  • A Great way to take off make-up is with baby oil. Just dab a little on a tissue and swipe across your face!
  • Instead of using lip gloss that doesn't last long enough, rub a thick layer of petroleom jelly (e.g. Vaseline) onto your lips and around them. This is great for winter as well because it prevents chapping and cold sores.
  • Need help plucking your eyebrows? Always follow the natural shape of your brow. Begin by brushing your brows up and back. A good rule of thumb to follow so you don't lose the arch in your brows is to pluck from underneath on the outer arch and from up above on the inner part of the arch.
  • Need a face powder? Use cornstarch. Use it in moderation or you can look too white.
  • If you want your eyeshadow to last all day long simply apply a thin layer of concealer ( Maybelline works good for me ) before applying your eyeshadow. It will usually last you for 24hrs.
